Is it a Conflict of Interest if You Used to Work For Opposing Counsel

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Montana. My former fiance was arrested last week for Partner Family Member Assault as a result of an altercation between him and I resulting in physical and verbal/emotional harm to me in front of our two minor children. There is a NO contact order as well as a restraining order in place and is not allowed to contact the children or I. Today I received a summons that he is petitioning for FULL custody of our two children. His attorney is his Aunt, whom I used to work for and have known personally and on a personal level for the last 10 years. Wouldn't this be a conflict of interest on her part as his attorney in this particular case?
