My question involves real estate in the province of Ontario
My question is sort of long and to make it a bit easier to follow, I made fake names
A storm recently damaged a fence on the property line. I asked my neighbour (Bob) if he wants a new one or wants to fix the old one. He said neither because he doesn't want to use any money. A couple months before this, bob said the same thing to the other neighbours (the smiths). So the smiths who couldn't live with a broken fence any more put up a fence on their property. Then bob took down the fence on the property line and uses the smith's fence and gained about a foot of property. I don't want to make a fence on my property, isn't there any law that forces him to maintain the already existing fence on the property line?
