Girlfriend Was Touched

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida.

My girlfriend (18) she is still in high school. Went on a trip with the school for the end of the year party (graduates). She fell asleep on the bus. She woke up with this guys hand in between her legs touching her. She talked to the school counselor and basically all the did was tell the guy to say sorry I don't think it was even reported.

I just need to know if there is more that can be done...

She can report the incident to someone higher in the school administration than the councilor or she can report it directly to the police herself.

Concur with PTPD22.

She needs to go to the principal, the superintendent, AND the police. She should not leave this in the hands of school admins alone - the counselor should have called the police and helped her make a report!
