Questioning a Minor Without Parental Knowledge or Consent

My question involves police conduct in the State of: Indiana
My daughter has been questioned four times while at school by a police detective. I am wondering if this and her being recorded without my knowledge is legal.
She has told him the same thing every time and the last time he came to the house and I was present. He is bullying and harassing.

How old is your daughter? What is she being investigated for? Is she suspected of a crime or do the police think she only has knowledge of a crime someone else committed? Was anyone else present for the questioning at the school such as a school official or child advocate? What was the setting...out in the school yard during lunch break or in a closed room? Was she advised of her "Miranda" rights or was she told that she was free to leave? Was she aware that the conversation was being recorded at the time?

"Bullying and harassing" are subjective terms. A LOT more detail is needed before anyone can offer an informed opinion of whether the police behavior was "legal."
