Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road

My question involves traffic court in the State of: GA

I was making a left turn into the left turning lane which began with double yellow lines. I turned into the left turning lane before completely clearing the said double yellow lines. The offense was wrong side of the road under section 40-6-40. Also the ticket was not signed by me.

The signature is just an acknowledgement that you received it (that you'll either pay it or appear in court). It means nothing to your guilt really that you didn't sign it.
Crossing the yellow lines does make you guilty. They're pretty aggressive here at certain places where people drive over the center to get to a left turn line especially when it involves encroaching on the oncoming traffic.

You can go to court and try a nolo if you haven't done that recently to avoid the DMV points (though your insurer will still be notified). You can also try throwing yourself on the mercy of the judge and seeing if you can get a reduction in fine or points (they have this discretion).
