Default Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal

Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal; in New York state. In anyone's professional opinion how long usually is this probation period? I got arrested (for the first time) for grand larceny (felony) for stealing at my job, I've been going to court a few months and it's been lowered so far to a misdemeanor. What are my chances or how common is it for someone to recieve an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal? I'm looking for a straight answer not for someone to say "depends". I guess what I'm saying is that I would like someone to present a case of a worser crime or similar situation In New York where they received this probation. Thank you.

If you want a better answer than "it depends", go to a local lawyer, discuss your case in detail, and accept the lawyer's assessment. You're asking for a personalized assessment of your specific case from people who don't know the facts, in a forum designed to convey information not provide legal representation.

I'm not asking for a personal assessment of my case or any type of reprsentation, I thought I made it clear that I was [B]Generally asking for the professional opinion of anyone who knows how common it is for one to receive an adjourment in comtemplation of dismissal. I also asked if anyone could share there personal experiences concerning that matter i.e. similar or worser cases. That [I]information[I] could possibly give me some perspective concearning my case...and might give me an idea of my chances of receiving one.

And again, without an individualized assessment all you can realistically expect is "it depends".
