My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Indiana
I have always had wonderful reviews every year. Last October I was in a car accident that left me with temporary post concussion syndrome. One of the miner affects is that I am not learning new things as quickly as I did before, but the dr says it is temporary.
My company is in the process of major changes that affect all aspects of our jobs. On March 2 I asked the coordinator a question regarding the new procedures via the employer IM. She got up from her desk, came across the office and got into my face yelling at me, calling me missy, and telling me to figure it out. My supervisor watched her doing it without saying anything. On Monday I reported her to our Manager, that is when life became hell. The result of the conversation with Management is I am now the only one in the office forbidden to ask any professional questions. I have this in writing. There are also a slew of other special office rules that apply only to me. On Tuesday I was written up for doing too much work. I have been instructed that if I finish my tasks I am to sit in my cubicle and drool on myself. I called HR and was basically yelled at for refusing to sign the writeup. Is this retaliation?
