What Can You Do With Your Ex's Belongings

My question involves a relationship in the state of: Wisconsin

My ex has personal belongings at my house. We did not live together, and he lives 2 hours away. I have requested he retrieve them by numerous e-mails, and sent a certified letter. He hasn't picked up the letter, and Friday it will get returned to me. What other steps do I legally have to do before I can dispose of his items?

How much stuff are we talking about, and (ballpark) what is it worth?

I wouldn't even venture a guess on the monetary value. There are some tools, a small amount of furniture (desk, entertainment center) but not one item of high value. Probably a pick-up truck or two of items, depending on how you pack it. He has already gotten a couple of trucks full.

He did finally pick up the letter at the Post office, so I guess I just wait til the 30 days is up, and see if he comes.
