Continuiting Disability Review, Do I Need to Be on Medication

I have bipolar schizophrenia and am currently on lithium and risperdalconsta. I've been talking with my psychiatrist about having a trial period without my medications. I am currently on ssi and ssdi and wanted to know if when it comes time for my periodic review if it will matter what medication I am on, specifally if I am not taking any.
