Chatroulette, Omegle and Minors

Hello,
I would like to ask you some questions about internet websites such as chatroulette or omegle.
1) I don't like to flash people or do that sort of things, but I would like to watch people reactions
in situations in which, for example, I ask them what would they like me to do and so on... It's clear that it could become
a chat in which we talk about exciting things which could involve sex, but it would be very rare that i show cam.
Now, even if I don't show cam it would be legal only if the chat partner would be above the age of consent, right? (I assume 18+ in most countries)
Could I be sure I don't do anything illegal if I ask people age before start talking? What if people lie about their age?
2) Is it illegal to record videos or screenshots just for private use if they have said they're above the age of consent?
I ask these questions because I don't want to do anything illegal.

Neither your belief that a minor is over 18 nor their false claim that they are over 18 will transform a minor into an adult. If you want to make sure you don't do something illegal, don't mess around with minors or anybody you are certain is not a minor. If you make recordings of naked minors that's illegal, period, end of story.

I would never do anything with minors or make recordings of them for any reason. I wouldn't do even if it were for absurd legal because I am absolutely not interested in those kind of things. I wanted just to know what does it happen if people lie about their age and if recordings of clothed people (not naked because as i said I was just interested in reactions...) were legal and now I know they are not.
