My Friend is High in Meth and Gave Me Her Son

My question involves guardianship in the State of: idaho. my friend is high on meth..she said she needed help n wanted to go to rehab..will filled out n noterized special power of atturny form and temp gardianship form..the atturny said to keep these on me at all times...she showed up high today n wanted her son..i said no because it was not in the best intrest of the child..her mom n sister were here n told her to get help but she called cops..they came n told me i had to let him go with his mom because the papers were not signed by a judge....what can i do? this lil boy is helpless n screemed he did not want to go..he is not safe

Anything signed only by mom can also be revoked by mom, at will. The only entity with the power to stop mom from taking her child is a judge. If the child is in danger, you need to report the situation to child protective services. THEY are the ones who have the power to immediately remove the child from the parent's care, and then work with the courts to place the child in an appropriate home (long or short term).

having the papers that i have. is there anything i can do...it is written in the papers that she is giving them to me cause she was admitting herself into drug rehab.

Those documents are not worth the paper they are printed on. They are unenforceable, as you have already discovered.
