Landlord Won't Let Us Find a New Tenant

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Arkansas

We've lived in this apartment complex in NWA for over a year and a half. We were just approved for a home loan and we're now house hunting.
I spoke with the apartment management and they told me that subletting or finding a new tenant to takeover our lease "isn't an option". It has been an option for previous friends who were tenants that lived in the same complex. I just don't know if I have any other option than pay the $3,300, it would cost us to pay for the the remainder of the lease, if we found a house and moved in early.

What does your lease provide in relation to subletting?

I couldn't find anything about them not allowing subletting but I did find this. Looking at #8 it sounds like we could buy-out for a fairly decent cost of 1 month of rent at current market rate.
I found out that they're only allowing bad tenants to sublet and not the model ones. Isn't that some kind of discrimination?
