What Happens if I Can't Go Back to Work

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: California

So if my Dr says I cant do what I was doing before what happens? I am currently on light duty and being paid by my company for same. So if Dr says I cant go back to heavy construction work then what? I know there is no other position here for me but since they have had me on light duty 1 does that mean anything? Basically I dont want to end up without money coming in. If I am understanding correct and they dont have work and get rid of me do I get disabilty? If so how long etc... Any info would be helpful.

You find a job within your restrictions.
it means you have a job within your restrictions.
if they keep you in it for a year with at least 85% of you pre-injury salary, they don't have to pay a PD increase.

you should review the fact sheet on PD from the links I posted to you in your earlier posts. it will explain the process.

So if I dont go back to work becuase they dont have a light duty position do I then get paid from disability until I find work I can do?
