My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas
We recently signed a contract on a house under construction. The contract states that everything described on the listing website would be honored. This included a double oven. Now the listing agent is saying she put that on the site as a mistake and has since changed the listing (though we have a screenshot from before the change).
Also the floor plan provided of the house has 3 windows on the back wall 10' 8" counter and french doors (none of which are specified in the contract). However we assumed since they are in the floor plan that they would be part of the house.
Now it we are told the counter will be shorter 9' 6" with one less cabinet and less granite that the builder has to buy, one less window in the back, and one side door instead of back french doors. It really seems like he is cutting cost to save himself money since the house in already under contract. Do we have any recourse? I appreciate all the help.
