My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: New Jersey
I was sold a Chevy Tahoe 2004 on 5-5-07 with the WARRANTY box checked off by hand and on the Sticker.
The Dealer also bought a AUTOCHECK report and no damage or accidents were indicated, should they have been indicated I would have not bought the Tahoe.
I asked several times if the Tahoe had been in a accident and they told me and my wife several times that there was none.
I just tried to trade the car in for a new car and they pulled a Car Fax report in which revealed that the Tahoe had structural damage on 2-20-2004.
Accident/Damage: Inspected for damage on 2-20-2004. Accident reported on 8-17-2007 ; shown on Car Fax.
Who is right and who is wrong? What type of case is this? Why me again......Thanks in advance.
