Default Mailed My Unemployment Form 3 Days Late

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: California

    Hello,
I was out of town for a few days and when I returned I went through my mail a couple of days later. I found my unemployment form that I am supposed to fill out every 2 weeks and it said to was supposed to be sent in by 4/1/12, I just dropped in the the mail now. How bad is it to send it a couple of days late?

    Thank you in advance.

well, they may want an explanation and being out of town can disqualify you in some situations.

Good to know. I would have found it earlier if it hadn't been mixed up with my 2 ton of junk mail.
