My Ex Left a Bunch of Stuff in My Garage

My question involves a relationship in the state of: Michigan.

My ex and I broke up this week. He has had a bunch of electronics in my garage since November. I keep telling him to take them out so my kids have a place to play (there is a loft upstairs) and so I can park my truck in it. He basically has been violent toward me and I don't want any of his things here. What can I do?

If you want to be sure that you're safe to put his stuff on the curb, evict him.

If he was, YOU were his landlord, and you have to evict him to make sure you don't get yourself in trouble when you put his stuff out.
