Default Scammed by Online Guide Provider for a Game

Allright, here is my Problem (damn this is pretty embarrasing).

I bought access to a site called: "wowsecrets.com" it's a Guide for World of Warcraft.
Now, AFTER i paid for access i got to know that it wasn't a one time only payment, i had to pay monthly for the service (which offcourse automaticly gets checked off my bank account).
I don't want that! I immediatly contacted their support:

"I was not aware of that this was an subscription based purchase.
I have just bought this guide, but i DON'T want to pay recurrently to have a subscription.

I kindly ask you to terminate my "subscription" effective immediately, and to send me a confirmation email so that i can be sure that this was handled according to my wishes, Thank you."

And offcourse I have yet to receive an answer, what can i do? Cancel my bank account?

Did you give them your bank account number, or a debit card number?

If you gave them a debit card number, cancel that debit card and get a new one with a different number. If you gave them a bank account number, speak with your bank about getting a new account.

I see nothing on that site, or on the page for purchasing access, that suggests that customers are paying (or agreeing to) a recurring fee for access.
All you need to do now is just to click on the button below to enjoy it all for the very low price of $17 (for a very limited time only)

As such, no. But this sort of bait and switch tactic is not uncommon.

Some months back, Younger Monster asked to purchase a similar "guide" for Minecraft, and we didn't learn that it was monthly billing until we got to the "OK, pay us now" page. Being that I've been online since dirt was fresh and new, I read everything first, found it buried in the fine print (so to speak), and exited out of the site. They wanted $20/month!
