Default How to Reverse a Judgment and Remove a Lien

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: GA
A judgment by default has been put on me and now I have a Lien on my home.
Firstly the judgment should not have taken place as I did file an answer to the court and the suing attorney and I have proof of delivery of the documentation. I never received any notification of the court hearing and now I’m stuck with a lien on my home. How can I have this decision/case reopened or the lien removed?

How long ago did this happen (the judgment)?
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.
