Execution Against Assets After Agreeing to Pay Off a Judgment

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: California...I made a deal to pay the remaining part of a Judgement with the other attorney $1800.00 today they took my truck and other personal iteams. Is this not a breach of contract?

What were the terms of the agreement, were they in writing, and did you adhere to those terms?

Part is in writting and there other was over the phone.

when the date came in September 2011 and i did not have the money to give him I called and advised him of the fact. I did not hear a word from him until 01/13/2012. I have a copy of our e mails. On 03/26/2012 they take my truck.

I can't read the part that's in writing from here, nor do I know what part was not in writing. Help us out.

You appear to be stating that you did not comply with the agreement, but you informed him that you would not be paying on time. You appear to be complaining that although he gave you another three or four months to come up with the money after you missed the deadline, he didn't call you to give you one more chance before executing the judgment. Does that about sum things up?

Not one more chance. After the last e mails I had no clue this was his intention. He was well aware where we were at financialy.
