Is your grandmother your legal guardian?
No, my mother is my legal guardian. My mother is not exactly in the best position to take care of me so this is why we would like to do this but we live with my grandmother and she opposes it. Could she try and get custody over me?
Yes, she could try. And quite frankly, if she tried, she is more likely to be successful than your boyfriend's mother.
Would that still be the same if I live with many people in my house and its a bad environment? There is a lot of emotional and mental abuse going on with my mother and the other people towards me.
Sweetheart, the judge isn't stupid, and he is not interested in promoting teenage pregnancies. He's far more likely to place you, assuming you need placing, with a family member than with your boyfriend's family.
