My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Michigan
So I was on a normal road with no construction and fog and I was in a rush to get home. I was clocked at 60 MPH on a 45 MPH road. The cop stopped me and he asked me the basic where are you coming from, what are you doing an all that normal questions. He asked for my ID and he returned it to me saying he was giving me a break and just recording that I was speeding 01-05 MPH over the 45 MPH limit. Being with a clean driving record with no prior tickets or restrictions and as a minor (17) what could be done to get a reduction in charge, as in there being no points so my insurance doesn't sky rocket up. I'm fine with paying the fine and all, but I just can't handle the Points for my insurance. Thank you.
