My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois

I was on omegle and i was talking to some one about sex stuff. i asked them before we started talking how old they were and they told me 19. im actually 17 but i said i was 19 as well so they wouldn't disconnect. we talked about sex stuff. then i said "your 19 right? i dont wanna talk any more until you tell me again" and after i asked them to make sure they were of age they disconnected. im really worried im gonna get like arrested now. i actually am 17 ill send a link to my facebook if i need to prove it. but im worried that the other person was not 18 or older cause they old me at first they were 19 and i was like ya i am too just so they would talk to me then we talked about sex and then i asked them if they were old enough again and they disconnected. I asked them how old they were and they told me 19. there were no pictures just chat. im just kind of concerned about why they disconnected when i wanted to reconfirm how old they were. and could make sure there old enough.

based on what you stated, you should not be in trouble but you do need to realize that you did to the other person exactly what you fear they did to you, right?
