Default Statute of Limitations for Old Legal Fee
I received a court paper today about going to small claims court. It's from an attorney that my ex and I used 14 years ago. I assumed that my ex paid this bill but when I called the attorney's office they said that I was the one that they represented so the bill is mine. After 14 years hasn't the "Statute of Limitations" ran out for this debt? I live in Indiana.

Thanks so much for the help.

Default Indiana Statute of Limitations
The Indiana statute of limitations in relation to the debt has probably run. You would want to raise that defense when you respond to the complaint.

I went to the site you recommended, and it worked.

The staute of limitations had ran out and I talked with the judge and she dismissed the case!!

Thanks for your help!
