    Default How Do I Sue Ex for Nonpayment of Student Loan

    My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: GA?

    I live in GA, the ex-bf lives in another state. Do I sue him there for nonpayment of the student loan? I just recently paid the loan off in full so I could sue him. What type of lawyer would I need?
    I called the state bar and they sent me to a collections defense attorney so I don't trust their "help" line.
    Please help!

    To whom was the loan made? By whom?

    Sallie Mae funded his private school loan. I cosigned this loan.
