Default Moving Out at 17 and Graduated

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: North Carolina

I have been informed as of about 4 months ago that you cannot leave your home if your parents do not let you until you are 18. Is it possible that you can move out of your parents house at 17 without them stopping you and making you come home if you have graduated?

Default Re: Moving Out at 17 and Graduated

As long as you are even one minute under 18, you live where your parents say you live. Doesn't matter whether you've graduated or not. If your parents say you can move out at 17, you can move out at 17. If your parents say you may not move out at 17, you may not move out at 17. If you move out anyway, yes, you can be dragged back home. Even if you've graduated.
