My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: kentucky
i did a title loan in the state of tn. in the state of ky title loans are outlawed my question is can tn legally put a title loan lein against a truck since title loans are out lawed in ky yeasterday they repo my truck i do relize i owe them and do plan to pay them didn't relize how high the interest was in the process of the repo they broke my rain gards and the back silding glass told me the only way i could get my stuff is to give them the keys please answer asap thanks so much

Not enough information here. The two obvious questions are, where were you when you took out the loan? If you were in Kentucky (and perhaps did it over the internet), that is an illegal operation and you might have recourse. If were present in the state of Kentucky, the Tennessee laws do not apply. The next question would be if the entity was a legal lender (most operate under the pawnbroker laws) in Kentucky (while title pawn is legal there, there are many people who are not operating within that law either).
