I am going to Europe very soon. I have a misdeamenor (petty theft). It happened 4 years ago. I heard that I may not be able to re enter the US. I have a permanent resident card. Can I really be denied re entry??? Please answer me.

Can you potentially be denied entry because you chose to commit a crime? Yes. If that's all we're talking about - a 90-day misdemeanor with no other aggravating factors - odds are that the offense is going to fall under the petty offense exception such that, although a crime involving moral turpitude, it doesn't render you ineligible to reenter. That does not mean that you won't potentially face greater scrutiny or delays at the port of entry, nor is it a promise of reentry - it's just an expression of the odds. Individual experiences may vary.
