You can try legal aid in your area, and you can call your State Bar Association for a low-cost referral, at (314) 621-6681. You can also use Google etc., to find local groups. Maybe deltabravo.net can help you, too.

You are absolutely entitled to be a full and active part of your child's life, Dad. Go for it! Be there for your child

And even if Mom does get a name change - that doesn't mean your son is any less your son. That will never change.
