How to Have Assets Removed While Testator Was Alive Returned to Estate

My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: Maryland
The testator passed away leaving a small estate. Come to find out that the PR of the estate had gained the trust of the testator while he was alive and removed a significant amount of funds from the testator's assets before he died, calling them "gifts". How can the other beneficiaries have this PR required to restore what was taken to the estate?

first, it has nothing to do with them being the PR. Unless you can argue some incapacity of the deceased, improper influence, or elder abuse, the gifts are gone.
