Can I Use My Maiden Name on My Professional License

My question involves name change laws in the State of: Ohio

I have an LPN license that is active and not restricted and i would like to keep my professional license under my maiden name. I have gotten married in August of last year and signed my name on the marriage certificate as my husbands last name, I changed my SSN to the married name. Is it too late to keep my professional name separate? I do not want to break any laws.

I see no reason why not - but you should check with the licensing agency.

It does not seem to be any different from various actresses marrying, taking the husband's last name legally, but keeping their maiden name professionally.
