Request for a Continuance After Hiring a New Lawyer

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Arizona.

My Step sons mother had an attorney she obtained in August, in January the attorney release her because they were in conflict over things, not sure what. Out hearing is in 14 days and the diclosure period in over in 3 days. On the 22nd her new lawyer motioned that he was joining as her attorney, the same day he sent us some ndr for us to answer. My lawyer responded that we would respond but according to the law we have 40 days which put us beyond the court date. Her Lawyer then motioned for the court to move the hearing back 1 month. Now the judge and lawyers are having a meeting tomorrow. What are the odds of this being continued? She had almost 7 months of diclosure and our date was pushed back in January, which we didn't object, because we sent them over 1,500 pages of diclosurer so they needed more time to review.
