Doctor bill

Two years ago I had my yearly check up. ( Georgia ) I had insurance to cover it. The doctors office put on the bill that I had a existing condition, which I do not have. The insurance company would not pay the bill. I went round and round with the doctor and the insurance and had no luck. I no longer see that doctor or have that insurance. I got a call from a collection agency asking me to make arrangements to pay the bill. Please advise!

Did you have another doctor attempt to diagnose your supposed existing condition? If so, did that second doctor speak with the first doctor about the supposed existing condition? What efforts, besides these, have you attempted to prove that you do not have the supposed existing condition?

I only have military doctors now. The frist doctor said I had high collesteral and I don't.

sorry, No I did not have another doctor attempt to diagnose my suppossed existing condition. Do I need to? Also what is the statue of limitations in Ga.
