Question DNA test without mother's consent
I live in CT. My ex wife has made a habit of making sure I hear about outright lies she spreads from time to time. So I don't know if I believe it, but she has been telling people I am not our child's father. I have joint legal custody of the child. Can I have a DNA sample taken for the purpose of establishing paternity without my ex wife's knowledge? I want to know for sure before starting what would surely be a very ugly situation.

You should be able to get a cheek swab DNA paternity testing kit, should you choose, with which you take your own samples and send them to a lab for testing.

I agree with aaron,
This is a private DNA test. If you are looking for a good reputable Lab I can recommend one. This is what I did to disprove paternity that eventully held up in court. The cost I believe is only $138 to test you and the child.
