Default The Service Provider is Threatening if I Pursue the Claim with Paypal She Will Sue Me

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: WA

I have disputed a charge with Paypal for the service that I haven't been satisfied with it (yet it has not been reached to the claiming step). After exchanging a few emails now that person threatening me that if I pursue it further with Paypal she will charge and sue me for any more time that should spend to communicate with paypal and for harming her business as the paypal may tie her account for 30 days. She is sending emails to my email address at the public institute and now threatening me that she would sue the institute as an employer of the institute I am representing the institute. I checked the law about limitation on usage of public domain for my communication with that person. (Initially I had contacted with this person for job searching service.) I appreciate any advice or any clue to the laws that I should read about it.

    So many thanks.

    You're both in Washington?

We don't know the facts, so we cannot comment on the merits of your dispute, but it's difficult to imagine how your raising a dispute with PayPal would create a claim for anything beyond the amount of the purchase. You have not indicated whether or how your employer is involved in this transaction.

Mr. Knowitall, thanks for your response. I am in WA, the other person is in NC.My employer is not involved at all, and her reasoning for that threat is that most of our communication was through my institute email address. I offered her to take 25% of the contract to end it smoothly (for the completely unsatisfactory service), she didn't accept. I hired her as a coach and stayed with her for two and half weeks, but the lack of enough communication and the poor service made me to get into the stage to end the contract. When she didn't accept the offer and insisted that she will stay as my coach, I told hey that I have no other choice to dispute it through paypal and report to BBB. This made her upset and she said she will call my institute, if I harm her business and reputation!

The common sense says that she is not right, but to know the laws I searched to see what are the restrictions for our institute E-mail usage, and found nothing significant which can be related to this case. She also said that she will charge $75 /h for the time that she is going to spend to reply to paypal, because my claim has no base!... Still I haven't withdraw my dispute, and I do not plan to do it. I think soon I need to escalate the case with paypal.
