Being Billed for Workmans Comp Injury

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Michigan

On April 20, 2011 I was taken to the hospital for an on the job injury. Our claims management company that handles workmans comp for my work closed out the claim and payed all the bills (what I was told). For the past six months I am still receiving bills at home from debt collectors saying I owe more money. I have informed them that it's a workmans comp case and that they will be contacted. Every time I turn the bill into our HR dept and they take care of it. It seems after that I get another bill and letter from different collections...it's never ending. I'm done talking to folks and I'm worried this is affecting my credit...what legal options do I have to make this stop?

maybe you are not talking to the right folks.
a letter to the Hospital administrator advising them of the the work comp injury may help.
keep a copy.
if the hospital doesn't pull the collection from their collection agency, you may have to contact the work comp court.
it could hurt your credit if the hospital doesn't flag it as a comp claim.

Have already done that. I've taken every avenue to try to get this resolved and they keep making mistakes; now someone needs to pay. They have wasted my time and now they are hurting my credit over THEIR error they refuse to fix.
