Default Re: Third Person is Not Allowing Visitation, Can I File Contempt on Her As Well

sadly, I have tried to get this into court. The first problem was that the third party started to have my visitations at a police station, and after an ex parte to get my old visiting location reinstated, this person still continued to go to the police station saying it does not matter what the court said, only what the mom and attorney say is where im going to have my visits. I advised her that in doing so she would be violating court orders. Now that the police station does not want us there anymore, I tried to have another place to visit with my child but this third party no longer answers the phone. I cant contact my ex as we both have restraining orders. So now I have to wait till march when my next court date is. What a mess!

also, if I have contempt filings on her already, can I bring up new charges of contempt, for instance the new violations that she is doing? or do I need to wait till the first charges go through before I can file new charges?

You bring everything up to the court. If the ex is not adhering to the order of the court, then the ex needs to be held accountable. The ex needs to let the third party know what is to happen and when, or the ex gets in trouble - not the third party.

My wife and I were the third party's in something like this once, and it can be a pain. We didn't do it for long.
