My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Iowa
Nuts and bolts: Presently chasing FMLA retaliation suit....EEOC and Iowa Civil rights have issued complaints after I passed the screen. Also seeking attorney. The attorneys have asked for my last performance review before my termination.
After I was termed, requested entire employee file. After digging, could find every employee review except last one (in 2010). I remember receiving it, signing it. It was a good review.
E-mailed HR yesterday, got copy of 2010 review. Was not the review I signed, and appears to have been scored worse than I remember. As a matter of fact, it was signed by NOBODY. Just a vanilla review, with no signatures at all. 2 questions are......
How in the heck do I find the review I actually signed??
How bad is this for employer? Did they seriously just trash my last review to cover their butts, and throw it in there unsigned??
