Great forum, can't thank you enough for your advice. My question involves felony criminal records (burglary type) that were Expunged in the state of Kansas 20 years ago, pertaining to a felony conviction 30 years ago, when I was 18,. Jury duty summons in California next week.

How do I fill out a Jury Summons response form? Am I a felon still or can I denied that, as the Expungement record says I can on job forms, etc? I don't think so, Kansas website doesn't say about jury duty. It's been 30 years since that bad night. I don't want to bring up all that on new records "to confirm" this with this summons, etc. May have to. Any conversation on this would help as I need to report next week. I have made contacted my city requesting the jury duty yet (busy signal). I would think the DA would not want me on the jury, just in case of any mistrial....? I feel embarrassed that I have not kept up on this Scarlet letter of mine, long before college.
