Default Assault Causing bodily harm
I am 31 and charged with assaukt casuing bodily harm to my wife from whom i am separated. We got into an arguement about mortgage money. Had been telling her to sign a separation agreement so i could go ahead and get a divorce. She went off locked me in the room and said she was going to call 911 and tell them i was killing her over the house!!!!! i begged her to open so i could leave. She opended the door and i pushed her to get out. She bit me on the shoulder to keep me in and i bit her on her chest too. wish io had not but i paniced. My trial date id in Sept. waht should i expect??? The police is trying to subpoena her and she is trying to avoid them. I believe that they will soon catch up with her. I have no prior record. Am i going to have to go to jail??? What about probation???

Default Domestic Violence
A lot of things could happen, depending upon the specific charges, witnesses available at trial, the judge's perspective, the prosecutor's policies....

You should consult a local criminal defense lawyer.

Default there is something that you can do
you know there is something that your wife can do. i really dont know what state that you are in i am in wichita ks and the court has tried to make me go to court on my ex-boyfriend on a DV but i didnt go and the charges were dropped. if she was to go to court you would probably get 1 year probatation, anger management, and community service. you will be ok just ask the lord to let his will be done within your life.
