    Exclamation Forged Signature on Lease

I am currently renting from a landlord whose daughter happens to be my roommate. Due to personal issues, we do not get along and therefore I want out of the lease. I know for a fact that the father was out of the country when the lease was signed and therefore his signature was forged. I do not believe that she is a co-owner of the home and I know that she does not have power of attorney. In this case, is the lease valid and can I move out???

It's your signature that's important, when it comes to holding you to your obligations under the lease.
