Sorry if you're not getting confirmation for what you obviously already believe. It seems apparent that you are only looking for agreement, not any actual opinion (at least not one that disagrees with yours).

    Good luck.

No not agreement. I came to this site for ADVICE on what to do. Not be judged for I did.(i.e. remarks as.."hope he got your plate" was not the advice I was looking for.)

You can start by investigating whether or not a police report was made. If not, then this would appear to be much ado about nothing.

The only ADVICE that you have asked for was in your first post, "Am I wrong here?" The overwhelming reply to that seems to be, "YES." Everything else seem to me to be you trying to rationalize and argue to try to convince those here that we just misunderstood the circumstances...in other words, rejecting the advice that you asked for because it was not the confirmation that you hoped for.

I just wanted all facts to be understood and made clear before I acted on something that didnt need to be. Thank you for your input. I don't want to argue with you. Nor do I wish to be insulting/insulted. Yes, I did ask "Am I wrong here" but I didn't need someone to tell me "hope he got your plate" or point any other fingers at me. Thank you for your time.

In other words, yes your right I was in the wrong and I am not disagreeing with you about that Maybe the man got m plate and will file a report.

So from your description of the incident....you began to pull out past the stop sign to turn left and enter the roadway. The MC rider in the center lane laid his bike down in the act of stopping to avoid what he thought was an imminent collision with your vehicle. The MC rider was angry even though you helped him pick up his bike. In order to avoid a confrontation with the angry guy you got in your vehicle and left the scene.

It would surprise me if the rider didn't file a report and law enforcement didn't stop by to pay you a visit.

You didn't come here for advice. You came here hoping people would tell you that you did nothing wrong. Sorry. That's not going to happen. Just sit at home and act like nothing happened. If no one got your plate, you'll likely get away with it. If someone did get your plate, the police will be contacting you shortly.
