Getting a Dismissal For a Speeding Ticket Error in New Jersey

Well i was visiting my parents in NJ when i got a ticket going 42 in a 25mph zone in clark, nj. The officer wrote that i was doing 42 in 45mph zone. Considering the fact that i go to grad school in FL and hardly have time to even come back to nj...is there anyway this ticket could be dismissed if it all and do i have to come to court in order to get it dismissed or can i possibly do this via phone or mail? Lastly, if i have to end up paying this, will the points travel over to my FL licence?

Is there an address for where the vioaltion took place, anything descriptive enough so the court would be able to determine where you actually were when you were speeding?

Have you looked at the copy actually filed with the court.

In any event, if the cop put the correct statute/ordinance number on it, it is valid.
