Your mother is NOT the child's Mom. Does your mother perhaps understand that she can be found to be alienating the child's parents? And that can be considered custodial interference?

You've received the legally accurate responses. Mom - THE REAL MOTHER - is not legally unfit, and your parents have no standing to file for any sort of guardianship.

Of course, if the parents - THE REAL PARENTS - agree, they can absolutely sign over guardianship (or even custody) themselves quite easily.

We don't have to know you to know what the law says.

Nothing you have described would support an action to take Mom's rights away from her. Which means that unless she agrees to your parents taking guardianship, it isn't going to happen. But if you don't care to believe it from us, by all means pay a lawyer to tell you what you want to hear.

Ok first let me say sorry if I upset anyone I understand I got defensive but you have to understand this situation is very closes to me I ment it when I said thank you and no I wont be going anywhere else to ask or paying anyone all I wanted was opinions on what to do. Anyway thanks again

You also need to take into consideration that if you report the mom to any agency that the mother is unfit, or psychotic, you risk a real chance of never seeing the child again. If that agency finds that the mother is fit, the mother will never leave the child with you again. And if the agency did find that the mother was unfit, the child would go to a grandparent or a relative before it went to your mom.

You should have your mother sit down with the mother and father and tell them that she would love to take the child and see if they want to put her up for adoption.

And if my kid's babysitter ever said that to me, they would also never see the kid again. There is NO evidence that the mother is uninterested in raising her own child.
