Subaru Part Department sells Window Deflectors with warnings that it's illegal in some states.
I found VC26708 but it does not say clearly about that.
Thanks in advance for clarification

the best I can find is this:
If the deflectors are clear, I would say you are in the clear as the would not obstruct the vision as noted. If they are tinted or solid color and they obstruct the vision through the windows, they are illegal.(2) A person shall not drive any motor vehicle with any object or material placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied in or upon the vehicle that obstructs or reduces the driver’s clear view through the windshield or side windows.
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.
I have never heard of anyone being cited for possession of these devices, nor can I see a good section to cite for it. Since it is not applied to the window itself and does not significantly obstruct the driver's view through the window in any way, they seem to be good.
