My question involves criminal law for the state of: Missouri
I got into some trouble a few years ago and through my lawyers help got Felony SIS and probation. I am about to be done with the probation and at that time the SIS will go away. I was wondering about getting my rights back. Have they even been taken from me? By rights I mean the right to vote, own a gun, and to obtain a concealed to carry license. Since I was never actually charged with the felony, did I lose my rights?
If I was in fact charged with a felony, will I be able to own a gun and a permit to carry when the SIS and probation is over. If this is the case, how to apply to get my rights back?
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
