Default Giving $50,000 for the baby
Philippines....

HI, im just new here..i just want to ask something legally...i have a boyfriend..he has a child but he was not married to the girl..he was supporting the needs of the baby..but now there are some conflicts..the mother of the baby was pregnant and she was claiming that my boyfriend is the father of the second child..they have lovemake only once...then the family of the girl decided to have an abortion..now they are asking for my boyfriend for finacial support..they are asking to give them 50,000...this is for the first son..after giving 50,000...he had no obligation anymore to the baby..they are threatening my boyfriend..but my boyfriend was sure that he was not the father of the second baby..so, we have this agreement that after giving the money..my boyfriend have no obligations to the, anymore...questions is, can we just process it on notary public..we just write a letter then after signing of both sides..we have to notary it? or we need tha quit claim letter? pls advise....

Have there been any paternity tests?

How many kids are involved here?

for the first baby, paternity test was done..and the child proven as my boyfriend child..he was supporting his child all the way...but when the girl was pregnant again..she was accusing again my boyfriend as the father of the second one..my boyfriend did not claim that he was the father of the second child so the girl's family decided to make an abortion..and they are demanding my boyfriend to give $ 50,000...

the agreement is after giving the $50,000, my boyfriend will be no longer responsible to them or to his child...no more obligations...

so what im askin is if we could take this process only in notary or needed to consult a lawyer...we want to be sure...

thanks...
