Inspector General's Office Wants to See Me

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arizona

The DMV says they wont issue me anymore replacement ID until I meet with the Inspectors Office. Ive gotten replacement ID 5 or 6 times(I was homeless and things get lost). I'd ask them to change the driver's license number each time because of possible identity theft. Now, they flagged my name and issued me a case number and said to go meet with the inspector general if I want another ID.

My question is, should I get a lawyer? Or should I just tell the truth?

Tell the truth about what, are you saying that you lied about losing your ID?
