Hello all, I have a question about a rather unique situation.

I have a green card that has expired a while ago, because I left the US over 10 years ago. However, I have not officially abandoned my status as a permanent resident. In the meantime I have become a citizen of a country that is part of the VWP, meaning that I only need my new bio-metric passport to enter the US. The particularity of this situation is that on one side I have a VWP passort that allows me to enter, and on the other side an expired green card which prevents me from entering.

I would like to know what will happen if I present my new VWP passport at customs: Will they see that I have an expired green card, and would they ask me to clarify the situation? Or even deny me entry?
