Default How to Establish Residency for Divorce

A bit confused. If I am filing for divorce, what do I need to prove residency? Kind of an odd situation with me and have been moving a little bit. I have a South Carolina DL (where spouse and I lived for at least 8 months), but changed my mailing address to a P.O. Box in Ohio (I was traveling with a good friend who is a long distance trucker). I am now temporarily off the truck staying in Michigan. What would the courts require to prove my residency since I'm kind of in limbo? I know it doesn't matter where my husband is now, as he has moved to TX

Do you have anything resembling a permanent address? Your driver's license is registered to what address? Your mail goes where?

and realize that many states require you to have established residency for some specified period of time before you can file your complaint in the courts of that state.

have you actually tried to file the divorce action? If so, which state?

Do you still retain a residence in SC?
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.

My DL is for South Carolina I , but left the state/residence this past August when I started riding with my friend. I use a P.O. Box for mailing in Ohio because that is where we are able to pick up mail when in the area. So I am really not a resident anywhere since I'm on the truck. I do know there is the 6 month waiting period, which is why I'm lost as to what I should do!
